Opportunities Offered by Universities

The following is a list of events offered by universities that provide opportunities for you to learn about their programs and services as well as getting support in preparation with your admission to a university.

CSU, UC and Private and Independent universities in California are collaboratively hosting a College Fair for all transfer students attending California Community Colleges. You will have a chance to meet with the transfer advisers at the universities and/or attend workshops to learn about their admission requirements and policies, programs, services, and more.

The events for the Northern California students will be on:

  • October 12th 12:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
  • October 13th 5:00p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

HAAS School of Business offers several information sessions about the Business majors in September, October and November.

UC Davis hosts live Sneak Preview Watch Party on Sunday, September 26th. Save the date and plan to attend in-person or virtually.
You may also schedule in-person tours at the UC Davis Welcome Center.

 UCLA Transfer Admission Presentation:

Monthly virtual transfer presentations with Q&A. The one-hour long session is hosted by a UCLA Undergraduate Admission representative.

Virtual Show Case

This virtual event is an opportunity to learn about UC San Diego, get your questions answered by a panel of current students, and  Admissions Officers about the application process.

These events will take palce on the following dates from 4:00p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

UC Santa Cruz offers the following opportunities:

  • Advising sessions every Friday at 3:00 p.m. – you may meet with the Admission Advisors to ask your questions about admission and program requirements
  • Information sessions every Wednesday, at 4:00p.m. – These presentation will cover topics in support your transfer to UC

UCSB Offers a series of virtual workshops on UC TAP, UC TAG, and Admission workshops during fall term. 

Here is the schedule and instruction to register for these events.

Information Sessions:  This virtual events is to provide information on the admissions policies, programs and any changes in programs and services, and available opportunities.

Chico Preview Day –This is an opportunity to tour the facilities, hear directly from the Deans of Chico State's seven colleges, professors from majors across campus, current Chico State students and the university president. This event will consist of:

  • A number of virtual events during the week of November 1–5 (time varies based on the workshops and presentations)
  • An in-person event at the Chico State campus on Saturday, November 6, from 9 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

On November 6th, there is also a virtual “student services” presentation, and in-person campus tours in Spanish.
