Accelerated Pathway
Accelerated Pathway for a Certificate in Early Childhood Education
This program is designed to help our students who are unable to take courses during the weekdays. Students are able to get the classes they need to complete their Certificate in Early Childhood Education or their core courses as part of their AS Degree in Early Childhood Education. Take one class, or take them all. All these classes will be offered in another modality other than the accelerated pathway each semester.
Courses in the Accelerated Pathway are offered 4 in a semester, 2 of them running at the same time, alternating Saturdays, for 2 full semesters. There also is a summer session offering for the practicum course, ECE 366.
Courses are offered in an online hybrid format with 4 in-person sessions for each class.
