Puente Project at Cañada College
Puente Project phases
Participants in the Puente Project make a one-year commitment to a linked English and counseling class with overlapping themes, discussions, and assignments centered around Latino literature and experiences in a collaborative teamwork atmosphere. Students are required to enroll in English and career courses concurrently each semester and to participate in off-campus Puente field trips and activities. The Puente Project is structured in three phases:
