Grants Development and Management Overview

The College is currently in the process of developing a Grants Manual and updating its procedures with respect to seeking and applying for funding from external sources, as well as clarifying roles and responsibilities for all involved in managing grants.

Guided by District Board Policy 6.30, the updated procedures are intended to enable key leaders in the College and District to be informed, approve proposal development, ensure the feasibility of proposed projects, and ensure the organizational capacity to effectively implement grant funded programs.

The purpose of this website is to provide information on the process, policies and procedures to follow when applying for grant funding, and for managing grants once awarded.   It is intended to serve as a "one-stop" information hub to meet the various needs of project directors, managers, faculty and staff.

The College Business Office assists with grant and state categorical development processes, post-award support to staff managing externally funded projects, including effort certification for federal grants, contracts, requisitions, hiring, and monitoring grant compliance for the College.
