Weekly tutoring - Upward Bound tutors are available daily on Zoom or in person. Please check the Canvas calendar to get the current link and password.
UB tutorial runs from Monday through Thursday from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m., and by appointment only on Fridays! Please note we are closed during school holidays and Spring Break.

Saturday College - Students learn skills, gain insight, and receive information on all aspects of the college admissions process in a dynamic environment. Students also learn about college requirements and special programs at colleges/universities. Most importantly students gain the confidence to overcome barriers and reach for their educational goals.
Saturday College is typically the 3rd Saturday each month from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30
p.m. at Cañada College but will now be on Canvas. Students can access Canvas through https://canvas.instructure.com/.

Advising - Upward Bound staff regularly monitors each student’s grades and assesses their extracurricular involvement. Staff members provide information and guidance on selecting rigorous courses and exploring majors. Please contact the TRIO UB Staff via email to schedule online or phone Advising.
Test preparation - Students receive information on college admissions tests such as the PSAT, SAT, and ACT. Students can access these workshops via Canvas.
College & Career Planning - Guest speakers are invited throughout the year to share their personal stories. Guest speakers cover various topics such as overcoming challenges and exploring careers in math and science. These will be set up via Zoom for Saturday College workshops.
