Cancel/Refund Policy
Not-for-credit Programs
Students may drop a course any time before the start of a class up to one week past the start date for a full refund. For more information please email Mercedes at whitem@smccd.edu
- In your email, please include your name, the name of the course, your phone number, your email address, and the reason for your drop to help us evaluate the quality of our courses and programs.
- If books and kits were sent to you, they must be sent back for the refund to be issued
- Funds may take up to a week for you to see the refund on your bank statement.
College Credit Programs
Students enrolled in a college credit course must log in to WebSMART to drop or withdraw from the course. Drop and withdrawal deadlines follow the official college academic calendar.
Refund eligibility is determined by the college’s refund policy. Please review the policy to understand deadlines and potential fees.
