1st annual Spring Internship Fair
March 15, 2016
11 AM - 1:00 PM
In The Grove
Please join us for our 1st annual Internship Fair! This event is for all students to help you facilitate learning opportunities outside the classroom. These experiences provide opportunities for you to apply classroom theory to "real world" situations thus enhancing academic and career goals.
So whether you need practicum experience for your major, or would just like to "try on" positions to help you decide on a major you should attend this event.
Please note that some of these internships may also require you to enroll in Cooperative Education, which will allow you to also earn transfer credit during the internship. There will be employers offering both paid and unpaid internships at this event.
To see a list of attending employers click the box above. Check back often as the list of employers grows weekly.

Students: Job fairs are a great way to explore potential career fields and possible job openings. Come dressed in interview attire with copies of your resume. If you're not looking for work, come as you are with lots of questions. There will be free food, mock interviews, resume help, and our famous prize giveaways!
EMPLOYERS: Registration information will be emailed out to prior attendees during the third week of February and as requests to attend are received.
If you would like to register now click here: Registration will open February 15, 2016
The purpose of the fair is to connect employers with potential candidates for full and part-time employment and/or internships for all students and all majors. Whether your organization has current employment opportunities, has not yet determined its hiring needs, or fills vacancies periodically, we encourage you to participate.
We hope to see you at the fair!

This informal event gives students an opportunity to meet with faculty members, staff, and employers on the following topics:
- What’s a major?
- Why it is necessary to declare a major?
- What does it take to complete a major from start to finish?
- What career paths are available?
The event is designed as an informal social gathering that brings students together with faculty, staff, alumni, and employers to learn a little about how they chose their major, and importantly, the path they took after graduation to be where they are today. The event will also provide information on how to research majors, or find other career paths that can be taken with a given major. There will also be other information and useful tools available that can help refine interests & values and how to incorporate them into the decision making process.
We will also have refreshments so come by, grab a snack and slice of pizza, and get your questions answered!
Employers: Please be aware that this is not a recruitment event. However, you are more than welcome to speak about the company you are representing and the career path you or others took to get into the field.
If you are interested in joining us to share your career path with our students, please fill out the RSVP: http://tinyurl.com/nl29xyh
