Expanded Student Support & Food Services Now Offered Until 8 p.m.
Cañada offers expanded student support and food services Monday-Thursday until 8 p.m. through Cañada de Noche (at Night). Services include expanded in-person, evening support, and walk-up options at several Student Support Services stations located throughout Buildings 5, 9 and 13. Expanded food services will also be available at the Colts Café (Building 1), the Grove Café (Building 5) in addition to Grab & Go Fridges that will be available to students in Buildings 9 and 13. Cañada College is a Smoke-Free Campus
Per SMCCCD Board Policy 2.27, vaping and smoking are prohibited on all SMCCCD campuses. Please do not smoke on campus, including in our buildings and restrooms.
Undocumented Student Action Week (USAW)
Undocumented Student Action Week (USAW) is a week-long series of events happening from October 16 to October 20, 2023 that aim to celebrate and provide resources for undocumented students. The events being hosted at Cañada College, College of San Mateo, and Skyline College are open to all students, community members, and will be a mix of virtual, hybrid, and in-person. USAW is part of a statewide effort led by the California Community College Chancellor’s Office to advocate for undocumented students and create systems that will lead to their success. SMCCCD Athletic Center's Fall Showcase
You're invited to a series of special Athletic Center Fall Showcase events on Saturday, October 28, at College of San Mateo's Athletic Center and Sunday, October 29, at Cañada College's Athletic Center. The two-day event highlights the top offerings of our Athletic Centers. All SMCCCD students, faculty, or staff who aren't members can participate in our special programs or explore at their own leisure. Enjoy light snacks and refreshments!
