Run for Student Office and be a Part of ASCC!

Your student government, the Associated Students of Cañada College (ASSC), is holding their election this Spring! Officers will be elected by their classmates this April then serve their term for all of Fall 2026 and Spring 2027. Packets are live on the Student Senate website  – students are encouraged to use their voice, create positive change and become the next impactful council on campus. To run, students need to plan to be enrolled in at least 5 units (Senator position), 6 units (Executive position) for the Fall 2026 - they must have at least a 2.0 GPA to run and must be prepared to make the commitment to student government (attending meetings, training and events).
