Run for Student Office and be a Part of ASCC!
Your
student government, the Associated Students of Cañada College (ASSC),
is holding their election this Spring! Officers will be elected by their
classmates this April then serve their term for all of Fall 2026 and
Spring 2027. Packets are live on the Student Senate website –
students are encouraged to use their voice, create positive change and
become the next impactful council on campus. To run, students need to
plan to be enrolled in at least 5 units (Senator position), 6 units
(Executive position) for the Fall 2026 - they must have at least a 2.0
GPA to run and must be prepared to make the commitment to student
government (attending meetings, training and events).
April is Financial Literacy Month
SparkPoint is partnering with Patelco Credit Union to offer a series of financial education workshops this month! SparkPoint invites you to join us and learn how to:

- Prevent Fraud

Apply to the Promise Scholars Program for Fall 2026
The
Promise Scholars Program (PSP) at Cañada College provides students with
financial and academic support for two to three years. The program is
open to degree or certificate-seeking college students who can commit to

Sustainability is looking for Earth Fest volunteers! Join in bringing
this exciting campus event to life, featuring interactive sustainability
exhibits, a free clothing swap and opportunities to connect with
environmental organizations. If you'd like to be part of the action, please sign up here.
Red Cards & Undocumented Community Resources
Wallet-sized
“Red Cards” that explain how to safely assert your rights during
interactions with immigration enforcement are available for pickup at
the Undocumented Community Center. These cards are offered in multiple
languages, including Spanish, English, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Chinese,
Russian and Portuguese. These can also be printed. Visit the District’s Undocumented Community Resources or stop by the Undocumented Community Center (Building 9, Room 118), open Monday – Thursday from 8 a.m.– 4:30 p.m.
