Designer Exhibit and Retirement Celebration
Join us for a celebration in the Fashion Design and Merchandising Department!
On Friday, April 26 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and Saturday, April 27 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm we will be hosting a Designer Exhibit in our classrooms. Closely view garments from Chanel, Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Oscar de la Renta, and Valentino from the collection of student Wendy Jade Hernandez.
In addition to the Designer Exhibit, students, former students, and community friends will have the opportunity to celebrate and say thank you to the Coordinator of the department, Professor Ronda Chaney (present on both days), and ProfessorKathleen McCarney (Saturday only). Both will be retiring from teaching at the end of May 2024.
We are located at Cañada College, 4200 Farm Hill Road, Redwood City. Our classrooms are in Building 3, room 255.
