The Associated Students of Cañada College (ASCC) is the official student government organization of Cañada College
Benchmarks: Leadership, Community, Change, Mentorship

    • The ASCC office is located with the Center for Student Life and Leadership in building 5 room 354

    • Summer 2012 ASCC meetings:
      Next General ASCC meeting is: Thursday, June 7, 2012
      Time:1pm-3pm
      Place: Building 5 Rm 350

      Join ASCC Today!

      To be considered an eligible candidate you must complete the following:

      1) Complete and turn in ASCC GPA Verification and Appointment Application with a copy of your current transcript showing you have maintained a 2.00 GPA and are currently enrolled in 5 units for Senator and/or 6 or more units for Executive Position at Cañada College.

      2) Read and sign a copy of the ASCC Constitution and Bylaws which can be found in the Center for Student Life and Leadership Development 5-354. Ask for the ASCC 2012-2013 Binder.

      3) Attend 3 ASCC General Board meetings. At the end of your 2nd meeting you will be interviewed. At the 3rd meeting, ASCC will vote on your appointment to the board. ASCC meets once in June and once in July. Fall ASCC Meetings have not been scheduled. Please check the Cañada College website for the next meeting.

       

      Current Open Positions as of May 15, 2012

      14 Senator Positions. Senators shall:

      1. Attend all ASCC meetings.

      2. Support ASCC events and functions.

      3. Serve on a college district or campus committee and represent Clubs.

      4. Work on a project or task set by the Executive Board.

      5. Be enrolled in at least 5 units and have a cumulative GPA of 2.0
