The Learning Center, Bldg. 9, 2nd Floor, is designed to provide a variety of resources and services to assist students with the development of the necessary skills to maximize potential, enhance scholastic development and ensure their academic success. The Learning Center employs peer and professional tutoring, electronic and traditional resources, workshops and supplemental instruction in a positive and supportive environment to enhance subject matter and study skills acquisition across the curriculum. Additionally, the Learning Center has open computer labs with access to the internet. Courses, which include transfer-level classes, are primarily self-paced, open-entry courses utilizing computer-assisted and individualized instruction.
