Alternate Media Center

The Alternate Media Center, housed within the Learning Center and located in Building 9, Room 215 is part of the Disabled Students Programs & Services at Cañada College. The Alternate Media Center produces instructional materials (textbooks, course materials, schedules) in alternate formats for students with disabilities.

Alternate Media Services - Obtain, create, and develop alternate media for students (E-text, Braille, Large Print, and Audio Recording).

Resources for accessible web design - specific design elements that allow web pages to be read by screen readers.

In order to use the AMC, individuals with disabilities must have basic computer skills and meet DSP&S eligibility requirements. All users must first receive training on the use of this equipment by the Alternate Media Specialist. For more information, call the Alternate Media Center at 650.306.3170.
