Spotlight On: American Literature: Indigenous Authors
This class will acquaint you with a variety of American Indian communities and their texts and examine the recurring concerns they express through literature in its various forms: identity, political sovereignty, economic development, governmental reform, culture and language reclamation and maintenance, land and water rights, health and social welfare, feminism, education, and other social issues.
