Fall 2011 Application Dates
Information Meetings: January 18th, March 15th and 24th - 7:00-8:00 p.m.
Please attend one of the informaiton meetings above. This meeting will include an overview of the program, a chance to talk to current students, teachers, and offer an opportunity to have your questions answered and turn in application paperwork. The meeting will be held at the Sequoia Union High School District board room located at 480 James Ave. in Redwood City.
Application Deadline: April 13, 2011
To downloaded the applications, click on the "Apply" link to the right and print the application. Return the completed application to the Middle College office at Cañada College in Building 13, Room 106 ASAP! If the office is closed, slide the application under the door. You may also fax applications to 650-306-3128 or email them to canadamiddlecollege@smccd.edu.
College Placement Exam:
The exam is given at Cañada College in building 9, room 110 (ground floor).
Your Cañada College application must be processed before you can make an appointment or take the placement exam (you need the college ID#). All testing must be completed by the application deadline. This is the college entrance exam for English and math and will determine the classes you take. The exam is computerized, self paced and could take 1.5 to 3.5 hours. Practice questions can be found at www.canadacollege.edu/admissions/testing. Once you have your college ID# log on to WebSmart to make an appointment or you can call the Middle College office and we will make the appointment for you. You must be on time, bring your college ID number, and photo ID. Choose one of the dates below:

Saturday testing begins at 8:00 a.m. sharp! (no appointment needed).

All testing begins promptly. If you arrive late you will not be admitted.
Interviews and Scheduling of Classes: April 25th through May 6th
Individual interviews will be conducted with potential students and their parent/guardian who have successfully completed the application process. All application paperwork must be turned in to the Middle College office, and completion of college placement exams scoring at least English/Reading 836, Math 811 or above.
Students accepted into the program will be notified by June 15, 2010.
