Safety Committee

Faculty and Staff Responsibilities

Faculty and Staff members are responsible for the safety of their students.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Having knowledge of primary and secondary exits.
  2. Giving "Drop and Cover" command during earthquakes or explosions.
  3. Coordinating and directing, upon direction of the Building Captain, the orderly evacuation of students from their classrooms.
  4. Reviewing the emergency and evacuation procedures with their students and staff at least once a semester.
  5. Reporting to the Building Captains for further instructions.
