Health and Medical Career Pathways

Adults: it's never too late to consider a health career!

Health care workers are in demand and it doesn't matter whether you've just graduated from high school or have been out of school for many years. We have no "typical" students. Some are in their teens, some have never worked, and others are back for training to enter their second or third careers. You just need to dive in and get started! The San Mateo County Community Colleges have many of the training programs that are in greatest demand here in the Bay Area. We offer certificate programs, Associate's degree programs, and Bachelor's degree programs. Some programs have no prerequisites so you can start right away. Other programs will requires one or more semesters of prerequiste courses before you can apply. The following links will show you which programs are offered at our three campuses. Additional information about where these careers can take you will be provided over the upcoming months.
