Cañada@Carlmont allows juniors and seniors at Carlmont High School to earn a year of college credits during their last two years of high school. And the best thing – all classes are free!
All courses are taught on the Carlmont campus so it is possible to take a regular Carlmont schedule in addition to one or two college courses.
Students receive both high school and college credit.

MATH 251 ANALYTICAL GEOMETRY AND CALCULUS I
This course is an introduction to calculus and analytic geometry including limits, continuity of functions, definition of differentiation, derivation of formulas, applications, anti-differentiation and the fundamental theorem of calculus. One by arrangement hour of lab per week is required. RECOMMENDED: Eligibility for READ 836, and ENGL 836 or ESL 400. PREREQ: MATH 219 or satisfactory score on District math placement test and other measures as appropriate.
